Timber Floors

Terrace offers a comprehensive range of timber flooring, some with unusual features and finishes offered no where else in Adelaide.        
        
Timber floors are sourced from many different species: Rose Gum, Spotted Gum, Jarrah, Merbau, Hevea, Brushbox, Tasmanian Oak, Terpentine, Ironbark, Blackbutt, Tallowwood, Sydney Blue gum, Kempas , Beech and Bamboo just to name a few!        
        
We recommend either solid or engineered timber floors.        
        
Solid timber is stuck directly to a concrete slab, and is available in plank look (slimwood), Block Parquetry or Finger Parquetry.  These can be finished using a number of different methods, including Tung Oil and Polyurethane. Our consultants can give you advice on style & installation.        
        
Engineered timber boards have become extremely popular over the past few years and are available in a large range of timbers and styles. They are usually made with a 4mm veneer (some go up to 7mm or more) over an "engineered" base, they usually come pre-finished and can be quickly installed.
